something about a varying speed in which the iphone receives information, the ones on voda will need software to allow the phone to receive data in a faster way.

there will be an option and all the networks are tryign to push toward 24 month cotnracts (a mistake IMO, who wants the same phone for TWO YEARS FFS) but the 18 month shoudl still e competitive. Most likely same tariff costs to start but more minutes and texts (+ unlimited (and I do mean unlimited) data) but that should spark the reductions across all networks. In fairness thats Apples fault totally rather than the newtorks

When I had my Mk1 on Voda it used to scroll back and forth, annoying

But back to the point, will Voda be making you get a 24 month contract? The fact that it's 24 months doesn't bother me, it's just that in a year to 18 months time I'd be wanting a new handset...

 It says VF-xx on ours

Ours will be marginally better Nath but they will have an impact on O2 and Orange's for sure

Vodafone UK is too long a word to fit in the corner of the screen where it tells you the name of the operator :o

Hmm, I waited this long til Orange released their tariffs and they are the same :|

Will Voda ones really be that much better?

Robbo

Even if you dont want it on Voda, it will reduce the prices all round

Nath wait until it come sout on Voda after Xmas, our tariff swill be marginally more reaosnable and should affect the others

Orange have made a big mistake "colluding" with O2's... they wont get many new customers

The O2 tariffs are fucking shite.

Im looking at buying 3 and the business ones are even worse than the personal ones

If you are paying for a bolt on it works out dearer than buying an iphone on P&G and using a simplicity tariff.

I phoned up o2 customer services and got a bolt on for unlimited texts for £7.50 a month.

Nath

Have you already got an iphone? Or are you a new customer?

Can apply a bolt-on anytime AFAIK

Nath

I see there is a Bolt On for £7.50 a month which gives 500 extra texts to O2 contacts. Does this need to be added right away or can you take out a normal tariff, then get a Bolt On if you need it a few months down the line?
