quote: Yes the iphone should work fine (apart from visual voicemail, which you can only get on an O2 contract), although do a google and check (just look for vodafone unlimited internet iphone etc) Also read http://blog.iphone-dev.org and double check the iphone (FIRMWARE version) you're buying to make sure it can be unlock - it's a piece of piss to do, but there was an issue with vertain firmwares that couldn't be unlocked! Jailbroken yes, but not unlocked which what you need for it to work on a different operator than O2.

Sell the storm, purchase a 3G iphone from ebay (290-350) unlock it and stick your Vodafone sim in it  When the contract is over, get a 3GS!

Its not a better deal though is it - by the time you have paid off your vodafone contract you are well out of pocket

im looking at getting an iphone. but im currently exactly 9 months(to the day) into an 18 month contract with vodafone on a storm which costs £45/month. my contract states i can lower my tarriff after 9 months but im guessing i can probably only go down to £40/month. |
