I don't think it's that different from Vista tbh, but I had never ran Vista on legacy hardware and didn't have the complaints everyone else seemed to about speed.

On slower hardware it's supposed to be a lot better, I've got it on my laptop but that doesn't get used much.

I'd got to 7 instead of Vista just because it's newer.

yeah, i'm thinking of scrubbing my XP64 setup as i've been getting BSOD for the last few months (i think it's a driver issue rather than hardware) but wondering whether to take the step to Win7. Is it much better than Vista? I'm running it on a laptop and i can't stand it, just seems slow.

Also going to be dual booting OSX86 but that's another issue all together....

Been running it on my main system since the RC leaked, not had any problems at all, only thing I have to install a driver for is my imon ultra bay, i've got the claimed RTM here ready to put on but i'm still doubtful it really is RTM.

Anyone here running 64bit W7? Just wondering if anyone has had problems, especially with getting hold of drivers etc?
Also, anyone know if it would be worthy jumping from XP64 to Win7 64?
