For 1500 quid you can have a decent specced desktop and laptop.

ive just bought a laptop, purely due to space, kid on the way so the computer and desk took up too much space in the spare room, but if i had the choice id have a desktop, just prefer using them, ive never really been a fan of laptops, the main good thing about it is not having to stay upstairs to go on the internet

I prefer my laptop, its proper shit but means I can do work on the sofa or the dining room table if I want to. Ive only got a 17" monitor upstairs for my PC so going down to 15.4" isnt too bothersome, although the max resolution of 1024 is a PITA

For everyday use a laptop screen is too small. If you go for a 17" then the thing is just massive and not very portable. Plus working on them all the time is really frustrating. Go for a desktop...

I'd say laptop but it soley depends on how much you want to spend, everythign thats around £500 is just a glorified DVD player wtih vista running on it

Well, pretty much just internet, bit of photoshop and flash work, email and tis all.

Dont do gaming on pc's, have consoles for that. So i see little point in buying a new pc. But i havent ever ventured into laptops for personal use so not sure which to go for.

Which would you choose. Both options are the same price, and very similar spec (laptop looses it just).
