Try Control Panel, Admin Tools, Services, Wireless Zero, Log On and make sure it's using the Local System account. | |

Update to latest driver and make sure the 3rd party utility is set to let Windows manage wireless connections. | |

you log them into the domain first give them back the laptop and it should be able to login even though the wireless isnt active | |
