Any that i've set up recently, apart from ones supplied by Sky etc have needed set up via ethernet 1st. | |

shall try taking router to pc tomorrow then. i am stupid when it comes to computers so have no idea really, just trial & error, but i refuse to pay someone to do it for me. | |

shouldnt need it plugged in via ethernet, should just be able tyo power it up install the adapter on the pc and find the strongest signal, then set it up via wireless. | |

take the router to the pc, doens't need to be connected to the phone to set up. | |

You normally need to set it up using ethernet to enable the wireless then it can be used wirelessly. | |
