You need the codecs to play most avi files...

That will allow you to play pretty much anything :)

Ok, when it comes to computers I'm more or less a techno mong, have got windows media player, pretty sure its version 10.

It won't play avi files though, can I get a download for this or do I need to update the actual player?
Any help would be good as its driving me mad.
