Im sure there is a button to switch the wireless on, however you need to have the drivers installed for the 'soft' buttons to work. I had this problem a couple of years ago with a mates advent machine I couldnt source the drivers for the buttons | |

ye looked there they seem to be ok, when i enable them it says network cable uninstalled, then if i go to start/connect to it doesnt find the wirless connection? | |

You shouldn't need an additional wireless adapter if there is one built in. May be that the inbuilt device doesn't have drivers installed? | |

i have an advent 7105 laptop which supposidly is wireless enabled, does this mean i should be able to connect to my home wirless setup without any extra connections? |
