I know the thread is about PS2s. However, what I was referring to is that if the PS3 implements a similar method of connecting to live/online, then that would be a pain in the harris. Whereas the 360 is easy to connect to live with. Therefore, that would be another feature where the 360 comes out on top.

If you do not have the brain capacity to think outside the box, then that really is a shame.

TBH If the PS3 needs all that to connect online, a 360 is again the better option.

Can you not read?

why? he can then use the built in ethernet adapter in the 360 and put it into the wireless access point making that wireless.

So not a waste of time and also future proofing any other console he would like to connect.

I was trying to get online with my PS2 and im not sure how it works. I have a wireless router which i thought would stop the hassle of cables but it seems not. My router does not have a spare slot for the cable to go into from the PS2 ethernet adapter.

Will i need a new router or do i need a wifi type PS2 adapter.
