Jamie

I did like the look of the Autosculpt feature. But no doubt you will have to chav up your car to in order to make your way through the game.

I played the demo last night and wasnt impressed at all. Sure it looks nice enough but the handling was crap! I dont mind arcade stylee car games once in a while but it really was poor. Again it could be coming from TDU to NFS that made me rubish at it?

Nath, i guess. I just recall NFS Most Wanted being a bit better in the handling department. Or perhaps I have got used to the realistic handling of TDU... I'm not sure.

NFSC would sell better on a console IMO.

Demo does look good but i thought the handling was way off. Far too heavy and not very responsive.

Gallardo did sound sweet though

Oh yeah its way off, but then its not TDU. It's an arcade game essentially, one thats meant to be more fun than simulator.

Cool mate, will be downloading this later I think. I thought this was gonna be out a lot later.

I like the idea of NFS games, but their arcadey ness / repetitive ness just ends up getting on my nerves in the end. I don't think I've finished a single recent nfs game in a few years. NFS U1, NFSU2, NFS MW - all lost appeal after a short amount of time.

I don't like the fact you have to chav up your car too an extreme, and also not enough tuning options are available - nor is the handling realistic.

but I'll download NFS Carbon anyway, have fun customizing the cars and no doubt get bored again.

anyone know when Test drive unlimited is out on pc ? :(

Just downloaded the demo and I think it's ace! Doesn't differ a great deal from the NFS of old, but the graphics and sounds are far superior. Its HD too so looks sweet on the right TV. But its the sounds of the cars which are most impressive, especially the muscle cars!

There is also a feature called Autosculpt (or something) where you can not only add bodykits and stuff to the car, but change every dimension of the kit to your suiting (making air vents bigger, wheels deeper, spoilers wider etc.....)

Demo is quite good too, 3 different race modes and 3 cars to choose from.

Muscle - Camaro
Exotic - Gallardo
Tuner - Evo

Not sure when it's out but i'll be making the purchase.
