Is the router anywhere near any cordless phones? Try changing the channel of your wireless signal - can be done in the web interface for it.

This may prevent disturbance from other signals in and around your house

I do not personally have any other problems...Just that when my computer is on it zaps the signal slightly from the other computers.

Just wondering if able to change settings etc so we can all have even signl strengths

Sorry for the delay.

We are using the D-link router.

Both mine (laptop with built in wireless) and sisters desktop(with d-link wireless connectiong) are upstairs....My parents laptop is generally down stairs in the lounge (uses buffalo wireless card)

The router is down stairs in the hall way next to the lounge

Hi,

Recently had a new wireless set up in house....However my laptop comes with built in wireless and my sisters desktop and parents laptop doesnt.

Problem is whenever we all are using the computers the other 2 lack good signal and keeps dropping....Is there anyway to even out the signals?

I am perfectly hppy with mine obviously and wouldnt normally care....but getting my ear bitten off by my sis :|
