I have a cheap 27 inch in my small room, viewing dvd via scart, and ps2 via component the picture is great, however running freeview via scart is unwatchable, now got it running via composite which is a lot better but picture is slightly blocky at times.

for that money I'd choose the Samsung. Can't go wrong.

My room is quite big, I've got a 28" Widescreen in there at the moment and it doesn't take up too much space so I thought a 32" LCD on the wall would be fine.

Hoping to get a PS3 at some point so will be using that with it.

depends on how big your room is and what you want to watch, viewing distances are also different for HD and SD sources

I'm looking at buying a new LCD TV for my room but need a little advice on a few things. I was originally thinking of buying a 26" but have read somewhere that you don't get the full benefits of HD with that size, is that true? So now I'm looking at the 32".

After seeing Dave17's Samsung on here, I quite like the look of that one but have also found a Philips one which doesn't look too bad either.

Philips LCD

The cheapest I've found the Philips for is £660 and the Samsung £750. Is the Samsung worth spending another £90 for? And does anyone know of any other models I should be looking at?
