If it collects the mail and doesn't give an error then its authenticated OK. | |

the incoeming and outgoing is ok to be the same, they jsut differ in pop3 and smtp. | |

Just had a look and he has mail.btinternet.com for both his incoming mail and outgoing mail and his works fine? | |

I'll have to have a look on someone elses computer at lunchtime and see what settings he has for his outgoing and incoming servers as mine should be the same as his I suppose? All our emails end with @burgessroughton.com and have our 1st names infront of that. | |

Yes go into tools>email accounts>view or change exisiting accounts, then click change on the email account in question and make a note of everything on that screen then report back | |

Ok you will need to find out whether you use POP3 or exchange, if your on POP3 tthen you will need to find out the incoming and outing mailserver (from your ISP) | |

I've got a new works computer and my email wont work with Microsoft Outlook as its not been set up. |
