or just a scart to VGA cable, but i got a feeling they will only accept an RBG signal.

I read it that he want to use a 17" TFT screen as a TV. That link above is a cable so you can use a TV as your monitor.

do you just want to use the monitor for a games console ?? or do you want to use it to watch tv on

a normal monitor to compisite/svideo are aroun £30-40 for a decent one

if you wanna use the monitor as a tv the standalone adapters start aroun £40 and go up to £150 depending wether or not you want freeview (dvb built in)

if you want a decent analoge tv on the AVer tv 7 is a good one to go for

if you want freeview as well then get a AVerTV DVB-T

neither are cheap but you get what you pay for

need a VGA converter - around 20 quid or so i think to accpet a scart/s-video/composite connection. Should be able to get them from ebay/maplin's etc :thumbs:

I've got a spare 17inch tft computer monitor lying around and was thinking of using it as a tv.
I've got a freeview tuner, is it possible to connect it up to the monitor?
If so what type of cable would I need.
any helps much appreciated, cheers Phil.
