A monitor is more than the sum of its numbers.
Manufacturers don't state a standard for the response times.
Under 16ms white to black is good.
Under 16ms grey to grey isn't quite as good.
The manufacturer normally quotes whatever is fastest.

ive got two cheap (ish) 19", both 16ms.

16ms or below is what your looking for ideally if your gaming.

What ever, if you guys want to spend too much on hardware that REALLY wont matter for gaming performance, go ahead and piss your money away.

You aren't getting the equivalent though?
If it was the same monitor rebadged or something I would understand your point but its not.
Its a cheap monitor, he hasn't lost any money by paying more for a better quality monitor.

Yes ok, that cheap monitor is cheap, why? Who cares why?

The fact is its a monitor, it has a 19" screen size, the same as you have ordered, and the same amount of pixels, you will not notice a responce time difference between 15MS.

What you are saying is the equivilent, you would rather buy a porche or a ferrari over a lesser known manufacturer of vehicles, just for the badge.

Fucking stupid.

My posting was based on the reviews from the dabs website, it is good value for money and I think you're daft paying over priced products for something that can be bought a less amount, with similar build quality and exactly the same functionality.

Thats like me posting a keyboard when he wanted an icv for his car.
You have posted cheap shit and the price reflects this.

So are a lot of monitors but I'd put money that the Samsung is a better model/version. Find me the same model cheaper and then I'll groan about not buying the dabs value version.

PS drax u buy netto beans over heinz on the same principal?

Well the fact that its nearly one hundred cheaper, is what I was getting at when I said saving money.

Think about it... lower price, less spent, money saved...

Ah you'll figure it out some day im sure.

look up reviews as it wont actually sustain 2ms. Ive got a samsung 930BF and its suppose to be 8ms, but in reviews its anything between 8-12ms. Bloody good screen though and havnt noticed any problems whist playing games.

IT will be 2ms grey to grey but most monitors will be good for gaming.
Mine is 2 years old now but I payed a lot of money at the time and i've never seen any ghosting.

Anyone,

http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/108385/rb/20135930569

This monitor any good for gaming?, supposidly 2ms. How do LCD compare to CRT these days. I have a decent 17" CRT I got with my PC 3 years ago. I actually chose this and saved £100 over the bundled TFT screen at that time. years ago tft's were shit for games with response time and ghosting etc... Just wondering does anyone have one of these or can find a decent 19" model that is suitable for online gaming/dvd playback and is the one above a good price.

Thanks

Allan
