Yes, I have bought 6 systems from dell last year, 3 Dell Dimensions and 3 Dell Inspirons...

Service is indeed very impressive and well worth the money (cheap btw) and the pcs have never let me down..

My experience with dell is that I will always recommend it until.....

that laptop rocks mate

1 other thing: next time, let me know I had a 20% off voucher which ended yesterday on selected dell pc (including the XPS) :P

:)

I have to say im very impressed with the service i am getting from Dell, apart from the difficulties of speaking to a call centre based in India, i sent over my confirmation of order late on friday evening, so was processed first thing monday, laptop was built to spec and packaged, shipped from ireland and is now sitting in the couriers in coventry.

really impressed with the speed of things as they originally gave me a estimated date of delivery of the 29th, but they called me this morning and confirmed a delivery tomorrow AM :D

Hopefully, all being well, ill have my new Dell XPS M1710 tomorrow

Spec goes something like this:

M1710 Duo Processor T2600 (2.16 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB)
17" UltraSharp Wide Screen
2048MB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
100GB (7,200 rpm) Hard Drive
Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive
XPS 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX
Intel Pro WLAN 3945 Internal Wireless (802.11a/b/g 54 Mbps) for Duo Processors

:D

anyone ever bought from Dell? Experiences?
