I swear by eWido.
Full version for 14days then you still use it for system scans and removal, you just lose the realtime protection.

Some are actually virus'. Depending on how doegy the site your'e on is depends how many pop ups there are, and how annoying they are.
There are many SpyWare/AdAware programs, but quite a few actually install more spy ware than what they take off!
I would start by installing Microsoft Antispyware, which is now called Defender.

what do you all use to prevent these little bastards?
i use google toolbar pop up blocker thing but they still come!
what is the cause for these?
nothing worse than when you're trying to do something and about 4 of them pop up and slow the laptop right down! :mad:
any help appreciated
my uncles having serious problems on his so im going round to put the basics on it later such as google toolbar etc..
