yes he did just hook it in most of them are on 12VDC.

Wireless ethernet camera sounds like a good idea, I also like the conceled camera inside the car idea.

Did that hook up to the battery?

Yes you can get them some of them are pritty pricy but you can get some quite resonable prices.
the range isent the best because it is going into your house but it is fine for parking your car in the road and catching any shoot messing with your car.

Ian we do sell them its on special order thow but i can get them if any one is interested i can get a bulk discount aswell.

i set up one of these on a mates comp soo he could put it in his car just incase anyone nicked it he would have a vid of them driving away. he hid it in the dash was really good did the job nicely.

Yeah, thought as much. Was disappointed when I looked to see they only get 8hrs life anyway :|

What exactly is the range like with a fresh battery in?

I'm guessing i'd need a TV card so i could connect the receiver to my computer?

i got one off ebay battery lasts bout 4mins and range is shit when battery is weak. Best get more expensive off the bay

Hey,

Could anyone assist?

I'm basically after some soft of wireless video camera, preferably one with a half descent range and could be received by my computer so I could record for long lenths of time.

Do things like this exist?
