by the way, none of the major home office motherboard brands like Abit/MSI etc utilise PCI-eX, its high end server stuff | |

PCI-eX is nothing to do with PCI-e. PCI-eX is not exactly new stuff, PCI-X was designed jointly by IBM, HP and Compaq to increase performance of high bandwidth devices, such as Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel, and processors that are part of a cluster. | |

I'm trying to find a PCI-X graphics card, although this is proving to be difficult as people mislabel PCI-E as PCI-X. PCI-X is the 64 bit version of PCI-X and looks like this. |
