Wireless is good, just depends how much money you want to spend.

go maplins or somewhere, it shouldnt cost £10

This is the cheapest option, but your main computer will need to be on for the laptop to be able to use the internet.
If you buy a wireless router, you will need wireless cards in both, but the laptop can use the internet without the other computer being on.
Same if you buy a wired router.

Thank you all for your answers i will go out tommorow and find out which is the best on the market Lee:wave::thumbs:

All the wireless routers I have seen also have ethernet ports on too, so you could network the PC that way..you wouldnt have to have a wireless card in the PC.

They dont have to be the same, the router will act as a wireless card for the PC. £9.99 for a xover cable! Ill make you one for free if you pay the postage.

get a linksys router! plug you ntl cable in to the back of that! then put that box next to your pc and hard wire your pc into that! then get yourself a wireless network card for your pc!

Check www.linksys.com for router and card! If you need to know what model, give me a shout and i'll check mine!

I can access the internet on my pc which is in the car when i'm parked outside my house! Bit shit when u drive off, but good for copying mp3's!
