If you use MSN Messenger version 6.0 and 6.1, and have not recently upgraded to the new version (please see below to find out more), we need you to do so now.

This mandatory upgrade is essential to help protect all our customers from a recently discovered security risk and includes the most robust security measures. After April 8th you will only be able to log onto MSN Messenger if you have gone through the upgrade, using the updated software.

Please click here to download the updated version of MSN Messenger.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What version of MSN Messenger do I have?

To check which version of MSN Messenger you have installed on your computer:

Click the 'Help' menu within the MSN Messenger application
Select the 'About MSN Messenger' option
If your settings read 'Version 6.1 (6.1.0211)' then you have already downloaded the latest version and do not need to upgrade.

If you have MSN Messenger for Mac or a PC version earlier then v6.0 then you do not need to upgrade.
