My Astra is keyed on both sides (happened to previous owner), paint work is fading a bit, and there is a dent on the hatch underneath the number plate, was thinking of getting the exterior sorted out so I could put some nice wheels and body kit etc. but I just can't be bothered now seeing as the vast majority of the population of Oxford are Metro-driving pikeys...

Thats a MASSIVE downside of owning a modded car. They are prone to criminals and jealous idiots.

I had the feeling all the time. I go to the cinema quite often, and the carpark thats directly outside the cinema is notorious for car theifs, even my mothers shogun got broken into and the stole the HU/cds/chequebook ect. I wouldnt be able to handle that.

I used to fear leaving my car anywhere but I'm not so bad now. Its properly insured and tracked and while I'm not being complacent or uncareful, you can't live your life wondering.
