Originally posted by Richie FINALLY got my corsa on the road last week. Felt absolutely brilliant, no problems except for engine management light popping on and off. Thought nothing of it. Come tuesday, my car begins to attempt killing me ! While doing 70mph on the m4 the car acts like the brakes have been slammed on full, then released. Got it home asap, couldnt find a problem, so booked it in with vauxhall. On me way to vaux it nearly killed me 3 times so i had to drive like a fekin granny all the rest of the way. Comes to vauxhall and they put it on tech 2 and its coming up ECU NOT FOUND!:mad: Opened up the engine bay, and the ground lead wasnt secured properly to the ECU, meaning that it kept coming loose and the engine + ECU were shutting down! Anyway got that sorted, and had a full service while i was there. Since then car was running like a dream, until tonight. CLUNK! i thought ohhh for fucks sake. Came to a stop junction, went to pull off, STALL!!!! My gearbox felt all wierd. Moved it about, i only had 3 gears! 3rd, 4th and 5th! Gear locations were like this 1st = 3rd 2nd=4th 3rd=5th 4th=could not move to here 5th=could not move to here Reverse=really worrying sound So basically i had to drive 15 miles back home using nothing but 3rd, 4th and 5th gear! Managed to get it home, chucked it up on ramps and the linkage had come apart and is now totally bent. Oh joy. Hope some of you have had a better week
