you can use astra gte shafts/cvs and get the modded hubs iirc

oh and new wheel bearings would have to be punched into your new hubs...the PVD hubs use staandard corsa bearings. :)

2nd hand CV's you are looking at £50-60 notes.

oh and does the engine come with the ECU and box?

Boxes go for around the £50-60 as f20's are common(ish)

K100:

brakes - done
battery - done

does the PVD kit include cv joints and everything else i need?

engine and box needs to go in from underneath the car in one go, could fit that and leave it on stands till you have shafts etc but would be a bit stupid to do it that way, just wait until you have everything, dont forget about brakes, and also budget for Cv's and Cv boots, also best to replace wheel bearings while its pulled apart, false economy not to. then there is a decent battery as well, just work out what you think its gonna cost and add a couple of hundred to be safe.

Easier to bolt the gearbox on and fit driveshafts all at the same time mate.

Suppose you could buy one item per month or something, keep in storage then fit it all properly?

450 engine (not a penny more needs to be spent on it)
200 fitting it all
250 (guess) driveshafts
90 (guess) 'box - which 1?
150 (guess) powercap

what can i do first off

e.g buy engine and fit, then fit shafts after etc?

or i might buy engine off him and fit it myself with a pvd kit, will work out about 1k all in?

a mate of mine recently made me up a xe, most of the parts are new on it, just does them for fun and sells them on. the one he made up for me is ready, runs very sweet, and hes charging 650 fitted

only things i need on top are driveshafts, powercap, and gearbox

what the total cost do u think?
