Cheers 4 the advice, i just thought it was a cheap way around it, but i see your point with the rebound rates etc. What cheapish kit do u reckon i use ?????

Pretty sure the GSi is lowered just on the springs. Don't think the shocks are shortened...

To be honest, the damping/rebound rates will be wrong for the weight of your car. If you want it to handle well (the reason you're getting better shocks) then you may as well buy a full kit designed for the 1.0 12v...

Its about using corsa gsi dampers on a 1.0 with -40mm lowering springs. More details inside.
