quote: Eh? :boggle: Im guessing you mean holding on to the grab handle above the door for dear life while screaming "jesus dont kill me" while being driven atsilly speeds, or something along those lines?

A friend had one, quick car for a 1400. Certainly used to severly kick the ass of a 1.4i 16v Corsa. Handled as well. That car was my introduction to Jesus handles.

The GTi's IIRC have the 103HP 1.4 k series engine. When you consider the weigh of a metro- about the same as a metal tea tray (sub 900Kg) , thats a pretty nice power/weight ratio its got. There also very tunable engines....

The most popular conversions for them are the 1.8 K series engine outta the MGF or elise.

here this metro was behine me tonight and he tried over taking me while going up a hill, and a car was coming in the other direction, so i put my foot, but then i let him past me because if he would of crashed into that car he would of spun off and hit my car, and it was pretty damn quick it had the GTI badge on the back but people have told me theres this metro going around with a 2.0L or a turbo convertion, it it would of beat my car hands down, but then again its not hard to beat a corsa, i just wanna know can u fit a Vauxhall 2.0LEX unit in a metro because this car could't of had its standard engine.. |
