That's what Donna has on D5 aint it, the custom superchip with raised limiter and Mantzel??

Superchip works finew on the Mantzel items as there has been one custom made to suit the M-box.

I would get a UNICHIP. superchip pointless

Would go for a 4-2-1 manifold.

With the Mantzel kit u get the lower inlet manifold too. (On the C16XE lumps). X16 and X14 i think is £475.

mantzel to compare. £550 from Courtenay though.

If I do decide to keep my GSI I'll be going for either a mantzel or dbilas inlet manifold, a de-cat, superchip to raise the limiter and maybe a 4-1 exhaust manfold. Hoping for 145-150bhp with that lot

I currently have a very little spec on my car and power was recorded at 147bhp last Thursday. :D

1598cc 16v
Dbilas throttle bodies
Superchips ECU with 7,500rpm rev limit
Performance spark plugs and ignition leads
Adjustable fuel rate regulator
K&N 57i induction kit
Lexmaul stainless steel de-cat exhaust system

Ojc

I have 136bhp already.

vibrio

you'll get around 135hp with manifold and decat exhaust

Everyone slates the Dbilas throttle bodies including me in the past but if set-up correctly they are not that bad. I am well happy with them now. Car starts up first time everytime even in the cold, they have given me good power gains, around 30-35bhp from just the throttle bodies and yeah they are a bastard to fit and get right but once thats done they are not that bad. Been on the car for a year now and have had no problems with them apart from a loose mount about a month ago. :)

Wish I still had my GSi, although when my car has been sprayed next month I know I will love the GT more than any car I have ever owned :D

Can't really go wrong with it, just a chamber, then down the inlet manifolds into the heads. Same as the Velos and Mantzel jobbies. I should expect the same kinda power gains.
