Time to settle this...

PRESS RELEASE
Chalky White Dog Poo
Tons of disgusting treacly black dog poo contaminates the pavements of our city streets. It looks disgusting, smells disgusting - and it is disgusting. But dog poo of earlier times was not like this. In fact, as dog lovers are beginning to realise, this foul excrement is the end result of modern artificial pet food.

"Natural dog poo - and cat poo for that matter - is mostly white powdered bone, about one third the volume of the artificial stuff," says vet Tom Lonsdale, one of the members of the Canine Health Census, a group of vets and dog lovers who are campaigning for good health in domestic pets. "The foul excrement on the soles of our shoes is indigestible cereal and bacteria, the end product of unnatural feeding. Dogs deserve pity not blame for the modern way they are fed.

"For a healthy dog and a cleaner planet, give your dog a bone. Raw meaty bones that a dog can chew not only clean his teeth, but they promote long life and vitality.

"Veterinary endorsement has enabled the artificial pet food industry to get away with its mush. Unwittingly, vets have acted as an unpaid salesforce for the multi-million pound concerns. In the future, we can expect vets to accept responsibility for their advice, all the way to the end of the product. No vet wants the streets, parks and waterways polluted by tons of putrid excrement that's three times the volume of the inoffensive natural poo.

"We will all breathe easier when vets join doctors and dentists in the call for more natural diets."

i dont htink there used to be any fines for allowing your dog to poop on the pavement. whereas now there can be some nasty penaltys

I remember the white poo, I fort it was coloured from something. And I think there is less of it cos owners tend to pick up their dog poo, like its some kind of hobby, perhaps white ones are more collectable?

 i agree, never use to be a big issue about picking up poo, nowadays u get bins especially for poo.

And yeah, we don't run round grassy fields as much.

The reason we don't see it any more is cos there is higher crime rates nowadays, so more criminals are getting community service and cleaning it up

Yes, dried dog poo.

I once saw a very runny poo that was in a field and it had green bits in it.

Got a quick question for all you peeps, hope one of you can answer my question!!

When I was a kid I remember seeing white dog poo on the streets, but haven't seen one for years now! Why is this?

Someone said that it was Poodle poo, and that there aren't as many poodles now as there were then!

But there must be another explaination!

Anyone else remember seeing white dog poo??
