I used to have drilled and grooved discs on my Corsa SRi to stop the almighty 90 bhp

I thought I was the tits with my race car brakes :look:

Oem discs and ferodo ds2500 pads have very good feedback. Drilled and grooved discs are not necessary

What is the car going to be used for? a daily? track car?

You may be fine with OEM pads and discs depending on use.

If you do go down the road of performance discs and brakes I would highly recommend these guys :

They have been in business a long time, come highly recommended on pretty much every forum and when I have spoken to them for advice they have always been very helpful.

I am now building a Tigra A using all of the parts left over from my Corsa b.
I have bought new 2.0 16v brake calipers from the Astra F Gsi
Can anyone recommend the best performance disks and pads for this set up?
256mm x 24mm disks
Anyone used Black diamond stuff? or any other suggestions based on experience?
Would really appreciate some feedback
Thanks
Phil
