It's actually know someone selling a very nice one. It's in black tho lol. Decent spec, 70k miles, manual, Mot'd till April 17 and only £30 a year tax.

The cheapest one I could find with that spec, mileage and condition was well over a grand more. I've spend a total of £130 flying down and driving back so it's well worth it imo. Travelling far for the right car isn't an issue at all for me.

As for a new car that's something I probably will never have. The money they loose as soon as they drive off the forecourt more than puts me off lol.

I get where your coming from tho about it not being as advertised. It would piss me off a tad but you just need to exchange loads of info and have a level of trust. Other than that it's upto you if you see it and it's not what you think. You either barter them down and they cave or you hop on a bus/train/plane back home.

That was sitting around 80mph 90% of the time. More than happy with that.

You must be mad for driving 550 miles for a car, if I was like you I would have a new car by now but I hate people saying the car is good and it's not and you've travelled to go and see it.

Aren't you up near Alloa? That's one hell of a trek. :|

It's not exactly the best road handling car I've driven but that's not what I bought it for, it is a diesel after all lol.

Been told a set of H&R or eibach springs and a decent RARB transforms the handling.

So, did you buy it? Weathers meant to be terrible up north, so good luck on your journey

Lovely cars. My dad brought a Montecarlo 1.2 Turbo home from his work, that was lovely to drive. They look awesome in Red too.

Going to view this tomorrow in Kent. Hell of a long way to go for a car but the cheapest one for the miles I can find. It's a 1.6 diesel with 29k miles which is almost unheard of for a 5yr old diesel

Was originally looking for a mk7 fiesta zetec s tdci but they were all chavved up and still pretty expensive for a low mileage one.
