My renewal is next month so it's come at the right time, it wont be going on straight away so I'll ask them there & then.

Cheers John.

You'll also need the car insured for business use.

Well since we (my company) moved to offices in Derby he has been out IT support so that's 6yrs, he has recently left to do this, and i've stayed in contact with him as I got on with him really well while he was there, always had a joke/bit of banter etc.

Magnetic Vinyl it'll be so i can whip it off when it comes to cleaning the car!!

there was an advertising company a while back offering to pay for advertising on your car but from memory you had to cover so many miles a week in their designated area (central london / birmingham / manchester) sign for a 24 month contract and it wasnt just a couple of stickers it was a vinyl wrap your car with whatever they decide type deal.
if you are after getting paid for a few cool stickers forget it, its not going to happen unless you are either competing in televised events or you are at the top end of your motor sport so get lots of coverage from magazine and newspaper articles.

i literaly get about 10 mails a month asking me for freebies if they put stickers on their cars, its never happened yet and i have never heard of any company that has done so for a road car

Just read somewhere, that I had to drive 500miles/month, i do around that but it's onyl the same route every week not exactly up/down the country. Hmmm.

If you want to approach a company and suggest it then the deal is whatever you come up with.

There are companies who specialise in this but I would guess the criteria is quite strict in terms of how much mileage you need to do, where you need to be etc.

for that to work car wise, you'd have to be competing, or have something completely special for companies to want their name on it.

How is this done? Just wanting to earn few pennies on the side really if it's as easy as that? Do I just walk into a comapany and say I'll advertise you on my car for a certain fee (or something along those lines) and go from there or what? Anyone done/do it?

Thanks.
