Mate how does it make it easier to put carbs on just thinking of going down the car route

Iv seen a coilpack engine running carbs with standard ecu. Can't remember how it was done. Think it had the injectors cutout and resistors in. Worked well.

Coilpack engines are smoother and better on fuel. Iirc 94-96 was coilpack.

what is the actual difference if any and what years do each of them come out of?

I've always preferred coil pack engines, because never had any hassle electrically wise on the 3-4 I've had, my mate had two dizzy ones and had hassle with coil, amps, and dizzy caps.

i would imagine so long as its a healthy engine theres very little difference in them. ive pitted mine (dizzy) against a pals coilpack xe corsa and it was pretty much neck and neck etc
