that dye is wank, i used 2 cans and it only covered 3 quarters of it, andonce it had dried it wasnt hardly black so i ended up using paint on it and it covered much better

Mine has been sprayed for 18months now and I've never had an issue. No flaking at all.

And No, I didn't prime it, just went straight for the matt black.

i sprayed mine, looks fine.

i don't touch my headlining so i don't notice it's hard.

bit of paint came off but only because i caught something on it, otherwise it's perfect.

no chance of it flaking off as it soaks into the material, if you scrape it with something though or someone scratches their nails down it it leaves marks, does feel hard tho

Cheap as fuck rattle cans and spray tbh!

Your not going to have the car long enough to worry about how long its going to last!

Will be fine for a year or two im sure

This. Got to do B and A pillar trims etc really to make it all match, takes ages but a LOT cheaper than getting it re-trimmed.

Is there no way of dyeing them or would that be expensive.

I've heard that if you spray them they sometimes flake off after a while

tom130691

people seem to just spray them,

but i suppose you could get them retrimed

What's the best way to change the colour on the headliner?
