Since the kebab sauce has dried in, would I be better using something like a toothbrush dry to try and crumble the worst of it out?

There isn't a huge amount you can do with alcantara tbh - usually the foaming shampoo's are your best bet, or Raceglaze do a dedicated cleaner.

The key is not to over-wet it though as it will ruin it.

Thinking I should give the interior of my car a damn good going over and the seats really need shampood or something. All kinds of muck including kebab sauce all over them.

Its half cloth, half alcantara. Anything from Halfords good for this?
