Yeah they are, but they are cheaper than the rest and I am generally good at giving people a hard time if they do something wrong.

Yeah thats a problem, the reason I need to go onto contract is because orange are putting the pay as you go rates up for texting and thats whats nailing my credit.

20 messages a day at 5P each for a £50 voucher is £1 a day, not too bad, but 20 messages at 12P each even on a £50 voucher is gonna be £2.40 each day. An increase in costs for me of £1.40 per day. It makes more sense to go onto contract and find a good deal by shopping around and using my contacts, and help from you guys.

I hada phone like that with T-mobile. . . I had free calls to land lines and Tmobile phones for after 6pm. my phone bill was still 65quid a month . .. just be careful mate. . .. you really need one that you are going to work with .. . they sound all good and then you need to phone someone before 6 pm or there on 02 or whateva ... but it does add up

wrong time to be lookin. all mobiles on contract went up in price by £50 as from april 1st. offtel has told the networks that theyre no longer alowed to charge as much for calls so the networks have had to put the price of the phones up. this isnt as bad for the network shops (vodafone, t-mob etc) but the independant shops such as phones4u, link, carphone warehouse etc are havin to do too much discount to give customers good deals. phones4u are now only aloud to discount 10% of their sales (compared to the 40%-50% they normally do) if they do anymore there gonna have to sack loads of staff and there only gonna be around for about another 6 months if things carry on.

No will have a look, that deal I found was on the T-Mobile site. I think its a pretty decent price, just ring home phones off peak more often, long convo's with some brids.

I'm abit of a mobile'aholic, but I work for Dixons HQ so I get a lovely 50% discount with 02. I'm on 02Max where you get 1000 mins of calls at anytime cross network and 50 free texts. . . I also put a bolton for another 100 texts for 6 quid. I really need to get out more!

Best I have found is from T-Mobile.

£13.99 per month for 40 free texts and 750mins off peak to T-Mobile and land line.

Then for another £13 I get 250 messages extra a month. Taking my bill to about £30-£40 a month predicted.

Sound pretty good to me, also get a 7210 for £79.99 but may be able to get it even cheaper because someone I know owns a phone shop.

What yout hink???

Gone through £40 of credit in 2 weeks, slightly annoyed.

Looking for a contract now instead of pay as you go.

Who would you recommend??
What plans are you on??
How much you paying for the contract??
How much extra for calls and texts do you find using??
Can anyone recommend a good package for lots of texting, approx 20 a day??

Cheers everyone,
Sean.
