Just take the arms off and fit them a bit further up the screen Lee.

Think mine must have been changed but put back together wrong, the wipers sit too far down and don't go all the way to my drivers a pillar

I ended up replacing the whole Wiper Motor, the old one was a bit of a mess, it was £125 from Vauxhall :| but got it fitted with a little help from a mechanic friend for a £10.

Also if they were going really slow, the spindles in the rack will have seized/started to seize.

Nail, head, done. Thats the problem i had with my C (both the linkage and the motor), you'll have to get a new motor from ebay/Vx. How ever the linkage can be refurbished quite easily, will need to strip the whole lot down clean it up then grease all the bearings and it'll be fine.

If the rack is seized, with a bit of patience and time you can just free it off.

i had to have my gearlinkage done aswell

when you fit a new wiper linkage make sure its set up properly i didnt do mine properly because when i was on the motoway way and put my wipers on they would stay up the window a bit untill u stopped and then they would go in the correct place

Yup the wiper motors on these are quite prone to going, especially the earlier ones

I've got a Corsa C 1.8 SRI 03 Plate,

My Windscreen Wipers have recently gone crazy.

They started slowing up when in motion, I changed the blades and checked they weren't too near the glass etc.

Now, they're stuck at about a 45 degrees angle. Right in my eye-line when driving. When I turn them on they wipe down to the normal position then back up to a 90 degree angle then back down to about 45 degrees then stop. They still work when on continuously.

What the hells up with them and how can I fix them?!?! :boggle:
