2 post is best for access, 4 post best if you need to do tracking or mots, both have their advantages, you really need both imo | |

some 4 posters have a jack/lift part in the centre that slide about to lift it off the ramp to get wheels etc off if needed. | |

My cars a bugger to get on a 2 post ramp, but they're alot more open so as said before you can get to alot more of the car. 4 poster is easier to get on to but does make it harder to get to some parts on the car i think | |

i like using a 2 post ramp as you can get to alot more of the car. just takes a bit longer to get it on and up in the air. | |
