i know how much it costs to diy it. most people wont do it that way though and will see it as rather an expense that isnt majorly necessary. thats all i meant.

You can make the oil lines yourself from 20 quid of braided lines, -6 stright fitting from the block and what ever banjo or -4 6 -8 ect, you can make the oil line up for less then 40 quid and use any pipe for the return

The inlet pipe can be made from a 90 degree bend silcon hose from any ebay merchant and any decent exhaust place can make you a bend for the exhaust, you can even make it yourself if you have some stainless pipe and a cheap chop saw and a welder

Then use the 200sx manifold ext you can even cut ther neck of the standard kkk manifold and weld a t3 flange onto it, as long as the turbo is suported it wont brake

After all this you can swap the core out and make a t34 if you like, much better then a hybred kkk16, that is going to cost you 600 max, i dont know how much a hybred kkk will be but i doubt less then this also

This is ofcourse if your wanting to up the power, i think its a much better approach then the kkk, after all thats the aim of the game

by the time you factor in a manifold, a down pipe. changing the oil lines. sorting the inlet pipe out. is it really that cheap? rebuild kit for a kkk isnt all that costly compared to others.

dont get me wrong, ive not looked into a t3 rebuild kit. if i was going to the hassle of changing turbo's, id get something that would make a decent amount more than the kkk would or id not bother.

dunno noob i had that kkk at 300 for about 4 years. Know plenty of others that are the same. Its not the turbo its the all in one compressor and manifold that fuck them with boost. Turbo itself isnt bad.

kkk are a good turbo.. before my mate went to a t3 he ran over 300hp on evo5 chips on one for over 2 years.. and killed it everytime he drove it. and that wasn't a recon when he built the car.

I think a t3 is a very good turbo if you want good driverble power. any more than 350hp in a fwd car especialy a corsa on a contry road or track is wasted. past 350 your talking 1/4 mile cars. depends what you want matey.

even 350 is a touch too much

yea rebuilt on not good used ones, you pushing 280 on s well used one, plus even 300 on a rebuilt on will last no time, the cost of a rebuild on a kkk is what compaired to a 2nd hand t3

Lmao a t3 is better then a kkk16 by a mile, the kkk16 wont do 300, a t3 will do 320-330 all day long and you can run it oil cooled only as well, a t34 will do 380 as well, expect to pay about 400 for a top notch t34 and about 60-100 for a t3

im thinking of upgrading my c20let with new a turbo

i just bought a t25 manifold

just wondering what turbo is better to get more power out of

is the ford focus rs garrett turbo any good as they go for prices like £400 £500

and the nissan 200sx t25 turbo much cheaper
