I used to hold mine around 3500rpm, the slide the clutch to about 5k to get the power down (the tricks getting off the clutch without spinning, just takes a bit of practice). | |

ive got a 1.4 8v SRi, some times just by chance it rockets off the lights, other times it doesnt. | |

take it to peak torque, when you drop the cluitch it will drop in revs but will still be quite close to peak torque so it will pick up quickley | |
