Oh, and I'm an official dealer for www.importbuilders.com and they sell some really good stuff for honda's etc!

Take a look and contact me if you want a price!

I import from the US, so if you let me know of a website where you can get them I'll contact them and become a dealer for them!

Well companies like vspec developments can chip a pre 96 standard ecu with a mugen program, for around 200 notes or so. This is not an official mugen ecu, but apparantly the mapping is the same... you can also get custom maps in this way, but it means a new chip every time you need to change the mapping.

A unichip is probably a better bet.

I rekon jap performance mag does know what they are talking about where as I dont so i cant argue with you, however that is what it says, and I still wanna know where to get one from regardless of weather or not the increase is that much.

anyone know anywhere that has one or how much they cost new or where to get one from etc?

50hp gain? Those power figures are bullshit. Plus you can't map a mugen ECU... they are very much designed for a jap spec engine, with a filter, exhaust, & thin headgasket. Nothing special at all. The cost a fortune too. I don't think mugen ever made an obd0 ecu, or at least they haven't made them for a long time.

it was deffo a 1.6 and had 185bhp on the rollers as it needs to be mapped and stuff - all the engine mods were as i said so rekon that either he has got a secret or you are mistaken

Not entitely sure if they ship to the UK, but i'm sure I can remember them saying that I do.
Also, the mugen chip will not add 50bhp. It was probably a VTi CRX with 160bhp standard
