do as people without alcohol licenses do and sell raffle tickets to interested parties, which they can redeem for their 'prize' of fuel.

yea but when the equipment costs £1200 alone its a heafty investment :(. I would have to make sure that i would get that investment back quickly

seems alot of hastle if you want to sell it on legally :(. Any it wouldnt be worth it by myself as a wouldnt be able to recoup the machinary equpiment quick enough :(

ive read the same somewhere i think. I would be using it for personal use, but then i would want to sell the rest that i dont use. So i dont know if that comes under personal use? :boggle:

I seen a van pass my house the other day,they collect old used oil and turn it into fuel.

You have to pay tax on anything you make over £6k i think it is.

its just filtered veg oil and a correct mix of ethanol isnt it?

You can produce 2500 litres a year for personal use without having to pay any duty.

I would like some facts about producing my own :look:. Found a company that sells biodiesel manufacturing equipment and im think of investing


What laws are there on production, selling it on to the "public" as it were etc.
