Cheers mate, that's true ;)

It was a lot easier than "Black Bright" or whatever the thing my dad has is called, plus it looks way better. I hope it lasts a while, though, because I used up the whole can because if the bumpers so don't want to have to buy a £5something can every other week :P

That's a good tip mate, cheers.

Unfortunately I don't have a heat gun, but it's quite an interesting way of doing it :)

That's different, that's some sort of protective thing, Bumper Black is an aerosol that you spray on, the longer you leave it on before wiping it, the shinier it is ;)

The whitest arch I had was the front driver's side one, you can see in the pic that it's pretty good. I didn't really need to do the front bumper, but it looked a bit weird not being shiny like the arches, plus I got a bit on it so couldn't really leave it out ;)

I dunno about the dust mate, I've only been to work and back today, which is 1.5 miles each way :P

I used up the whole can of Autoglym so next time it needs doing I'll get something else and see if it's any better. Depending on how much it costs, though, I'd like the arches and bumpers colour coded.

does this stuff pick up dust realy easy?

the suff i use at the moment picks up loads of dust just driving around the block after cleaning it...

so tempted just to spray the arches etc...

i think the meguiars bumper trim detailer is better, and it stays shinier for longer  but auto glymn stuff is pretty good too, car looks a good base to start with

I got a can of this stuff the other day and used it yesterday, and it's pretty good. I had one arch that was almost completely white after I washed it, but now it's about as black as the front bumper.

Also it makes them nice and shiny to go with my pearlescent paint :D

Here's a pic of how it looks after I did it:

A little bit lame quality because I took it on my phone (2 MP) but it's not too bad after I resized it for here.
