my fan didnt used to kick in until like 103 degrees. they can take alot of heat tho...

Mine sits below 90c for ages unless it's at high revs on the motorway (80+). Or sits in traffic.

It's worse with the heaters on. Doesn't even get to 90c at all.

my old gsi used to run like not far off 95 degreees. or thats what the temp guage says. used to go right above 100 when in traffic :P never fucked up tho

on a normal road doing about 40 not stoping, what does your engine temp run at?

got a new thermostat yesterday and mine seems to run at 95 even at -2c
