Matt, theres a place in stoke called autocolour its on Harsthill Road just down from the carphone repair centre place.

If you go in there with a paint code, or a sample they can mix it in 2 pack or aerosol, theyve got all the swatches as well for vaux

the prices aint bad as well tbh and if you need any advice etc theyll know!

cool cheers ill pop over 2moro. (if i find it lol)

Interesting. Halfords match on my frost blue corsa wasnt exactly great. It did the job i suppose but it was a tiny bit darker than the frost blue on the car was :o

I presume your just painting wheels or something and not trying to match up to an existing anthracite?

if so you could just use peugoet steel grey, i painted my grille in it with paint from halfords

Personnaly id rather pay more in the first place than go to halfords then have to pay again after they make a mess of it

you'd be better off paying the little bit more from vauxhall tbh just by looking at steve's

lol as you can see in that pic they didnt even nearly make mine spot on

gave them the proper code as well including the extra digit on the end which is supposed to make it even more accurate

Just go in and ask them. Took in my paint code and just told them make model and paint code.
Was for my old FTO and they made up the touch up paint spot on.

Tommy L

for vauxhall anthracite i would just go to vauxhall tbh. sure it would be better than halfrauds somehow :)

I'd rather use a local motor factors than Halfords TBH.

i know you can go in and ask them to mix paint up but has anyone done it?
do you just go in and tell them the colour you want or tell them the paint code?
if you have to tell them the paint code does anyone know what the code is for anthracite (sp)

cheers matt
