Ye i know the bicmeister.

The dyno will give a good indication of power.

you wont get a true reading of the engines potential on the road from a dyno tho.

you know of Bics 106 maxi? we did the old head for the old engine, when it was a silver car. that has the x16xe valves in it

Cam choice isn't finalised yet but probably 809's.

I'm waiting for QEP's dyno room to be finished as he has a similar spec but smaller cc engine waiting to go on for testing which has 809's fitted.

Kep me posted.

I'll be looking at using up to just under 9k rpm i guess.

Power should be over 190bhp.

prob do you some group a valves for £15+vat per valve (compared to sbd 18+vat)

standard valves, dunno, take them off my hands they are mine to give away. depends what revs you want to pull etc! i did have a complete set with 3 stage cut heads on them, but i bent 4. as for the head with the bigger valves in, ill have to get you a price on monday for it

we did a gti 16v engine with the big valves, infact i believe we have one in stock still.... made a massive difference to the power

all 1.4 and 1.6 16v corsa b's use the same size valves, contary to popular belief that the c16xe uses bigger valves than the x16xe. i have done alot of reading into the valve sizes on these engines in spec'ing up my cylinder head.

heres the standard size

inlet:
stem dia:6mm
stem length:103mm
head diameter:31mm

exhaust:
stem dia:6mm
stem length:103mm
head diameter:27.4mm

if your after prices on them then we can supply both standard and group a race valves.

What size are they exactly?

Does the Ecotec use the same size valves?
