Cams will fit (even in the x18xe1 and z18xe engine).
Although I always thought that they were slightly different c16xe compared to x16xe ones....

Head will also fit, donot now the differences though.
Would like to know them btw!

i'd use your head to be honest, you know its good, this other one might not be. Gary's work is good :D

£235 gary was going to do it for. that was just port and polish, acid dip, re seat the valves and skim it. i have two gasket sets already

cams are the same. gary will charge £250ish for headwork, new gasket set, stem seals fitted, all cleaned and posted back to you:thumbs:

keep the c16xe head. much better than any x16xe with headwork imo.

well the x16xeis ported and polished by gary thats why i want it and he is selling cams to go with it aswell. would the cams fit a c16xe head?

opinions on what i should do please

it will fit. but you'll lose about 3bhp

C16XE head is the best one, unless you get the X16XE on ported and polished

what do you want another head for?

One responds better to tuning & comes with slightly more power as standard....others not as good to tune & is Eco-tech....cant remember which is which though

is there much difference in the top end of a x16xe and c16xe, was thinking about buying a x16xe head and x16xe cams and was wondeirng if it would fit my c16xe bottom end?

i no that the ports are different shapes on the head.
