it costs nothing extra to get a car from NI or vice versa (bar transport, ferry, fuel etc). you do need to register with DVLA/DVLNI - all you need to do is take the V5 to central tax office, and they give you a new one. you get a snazzy mot disc in the windscreen if you get it from NI though! | |

if its northern ireland i would imagine its just the same as buying a car from scotland or wales? | |

v5 is different in ni you need to register it again in england | |

not sure about this way, but if it's going the other way they have to pay about a grand to import and register a car from england | |

This might be a silly question but nothing needs to be re-registered and tax etc is still valid :boggle: |
