the first number is your floor number .. the second is your flat number

... lived in a couple of flats when I was at uni and that's how it worked

Flat number 3 and flat number 5 - walls have been knocked down to make them into 1 flat/house. :)

sorry for the question but i live in orkney

if a flat number is 3/5 or something what does that mean? what is the 3 and what is the 5?
