flat spots are noramly in area;s where you cruise at speed eg 30mph, 70mph. they are there for fuel econamy

i know it would its not for speed ive got a cuzstom front bumper and it has 2 spaces either side 1 is where a motorcycle plate its just missing something on other side so its what i thought might look quite cool lol

seriously? dude, extending the length of the inlet tract by that much probably wont help performance much at all. Let the air come to the filter, not the other way around. Also, it would get a whole lotta crap on it and you would be forever cleaning it in the dump that is the UK

I got mine because out of everything that was uninteresting, the Corsa was closest to my Nova.

why do you need to extend the pipes :boggle:

an induction kit replaces your airbox just bolts straight on

45 for a K&N. 30 for a Pipercross.

When you say "much difference" I'm assuming you're on about power... because an induction kit on the Corsa certainly improves throttle response and gives a nice induction note.

its more for show because if i bbuy a induction kit or a aair filter on its own i need to extend the pipe so just wondering what the differnece is if its only pipes and stuff i will get air filter thing

but you can get a air filter that is shaped like a k& n in a cone without all the pipes

air filter is prob just a replacement element and will cost about 30 for a K+N

induction kit is a replacement air box basically and will cost twice as much

on a corsa neither will make much difference unless added with lots of other parts

induction kit is a pod shaped foam or cotton construction through which air passes to reach the inlet. air filter sits in the normal filter box housing
