the diaphram is connected to a potentiometer which passes a digital signal to a control board, which then translates it to specific output to be displayed on digital readout (LCD) | |

ok got an assignment to do, done 90% of it, but last question is one on how to turn a mechanical gauge into a digital one, basically this mechanical gauge uese a diaphragm that moves when pressure is put on it, this then forces a fluid up a tube which gives you the read out. how could you replace/modify this to make it have a digital readout? was thinking about a fuel tank style gauge, but how do they work, can somone help!?! |
